We got all the original files shared around, but over the coming weeks the complaints began. Key files we needed for meetings didn’t appear for others. Your recipient gets your files, and all looks good. But your recipient will never see any future file updates, and nothing they change will be reflected back to you.Try manually deleting the and installing a fresh copy downloaded from their site - that did the trick for me. I’ve had a folder set shared across all my various Macs and IOS devices for ages, and I’ve had another folder shared with some colleagues for months – all working perfectly, with file updates from any of us turning up for everyone else. A few months ago, I started using Dropbox with a new group of people I’m working with, and to facilitate that process, we set up a new Dropbox folder and shared it around. ) Fast forward to today, when I was setting up Dropbox on a new computer under a new account here at my office, and I managed to accidentally create the same issue – the new account wasn’t seeing updates to a shared folder that a number of us are otherwise using fine (and have been for months). In the hope of saving others the same grief, I’ve written down, here, what I’ve learned today. The crux of the confusion is one, little, word: outcomes that it can deliver. The other offers a single snapshot copy of the original, with no future updates in either direction. For example: If you mount a Dropbox account to your owncloud instance you can access and upload files and they are copied to Dropbox. If you upload a file to Dropbox after it has been mounted on owncloud it never appears on the owncloud interface. The files uploaded to the external storage must be accessbile from owncloud, whether it have uploaded from Owncloud or directly on the external storage I have only tested it with Dropbox, i don't know if it's a Dropbox specifict issue or it affects all external storages types..action_button.action_button:active.action_button:hover.action_button:focus,.action_button:hover.action_button:focus .count,.action_button:hover .count.action_button:focus .count:before,.action_button:hover .count:before.u-margin-left--sm.u-flex.u-flex-auto.u-flex-none.bullet. Has anyone the same problem or now how to solve it?Signed out and Singed In and the file is still missing. (it takes up to 5 minutes every time it syncs) This problem is happening with me, on own Cloud 6.0.2 and 3 external storages from Dream Objects, using S3 storage. I can confirm this problem with OC 6.0.2 and Dropbox as backend. Maybe that helps someone working on this @icewind1991 @Deep Diver1975 @karlitschek? when connecting to FTP using External Storage, the new files uploaded to FTP does not show in OC 7.0.I entered the Photos, clicked the Dropbox album (I have photos on Drop Box) and after a long long page load it showed all the fotos.
